A New Lens

My desire is that 100% of what I make doing photo shoots goes directly to missions. I have decided to create a special campaign aside from my normal shoots with the goal of raising the funds to purchase a new wide-angle, prime lens that will improve my over-all quality of photography, allow more flexibility to photograph in new settings, and have new opportunities such as shooting indoor photography, larger groups in smaller room settings, newborns, and weddings.
The ultimate goal is for greater flexibility in order to better meet the wants and expectations of those I photograph resulting in increased opportunities to give to missions.
You have until January 31st to make a pledge. My goal is to raise $1,300. Please click on this link to read more on this project: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1094986642/new-year-special-help-support-joanna-hancock-photo
With this new lens, I'd have more opportunities to shoot photos like these:

From the Top of the Met

We spent last Friday night enjoying this view from the Top of the Met.
Only the best baseball stadium in the world...in my humble opinion.
The beautiful, delicious cake the Bride's mother made!
 My husband's favorite appetizer. Bacon-lover.
Oh! Who is that lovely lady?
The couple of the night! Congratulations friends, in your new adventure in marriage!

The views at sunset were just breathtakingly beautiful.
This would be the only reason why I would want to live on the 42nd floor.
